Terms and Conditions for Volunteers

1. Introduction

By signing up as a volunteer with Meera Foundation, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all individuals who wish to volunteer with us. Please read them carefully before submitting your application.

2. Volunteering Roles

Volunteers will be assigned roles based on their skills, experience, and the organization’s needs. Meera Foundation reserves the right to reassign roles as necessary.

3. Commitment

Volunteers are expected to commit to the duration and schedule mutually agreed upon during their onboarding. If you cannot fulfill your commitment, please notify us as soon as possible.

4. Conduct

Volunteers must adhere to a high standard of conduct and professionalism. This includes, but is not limited to, respecting the dignity and rights of all individuals, avoiding discriminatory or inappropriate behavior, and representing Meera Foundation with integrity.

5. Confidentiality

Volunteers may come across sensitive or confidential information during their time with the organization. You agree not to disclose any such information to unauthorized parties during or after your time volunteering with us.

6. Health and Safety

The safety and well-being of our volunteers are important to us. Volunteers are expected to follow all safety guidelines and procedures outlined by the organization during their service.

7. Personal Liability

Meera Foundation is not responsible for any personal injury, illness, loss, or damage that may occur during the volunteer’s participation in our programs. Volunteers participate at their own risk.

8. Termination

Meera Foundation reserves the right to terminate a volunteer's involvement at any time if they fail to adhere to the organization's guidelines or breach these terms and conditions.

9. Non-compensation

Volunteers acknowledge that their work is unpaid and provided without any expectation of compensation, financial or otherwise.

10. Media Consent

By volunteering with Meera Foundation, you consent to the use of any photographs, videos, or other media in which you may appear during your service. These may be used for promotional purposes in online and offline channels.

11. Amendments

Meera Foundation reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions as needed. Volunteers will be notified of any significant changes.
