Our Story
In the year 2016, Meera Kanaujia left her home with her family during the rainy season to attend the world famous Ganga Aarti held at the Ganga Ghat in Varanasi. But when she reached the Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi, she saw that there was chaos everywhere. People looked worried and distraught; someone's house was submerged, while someone was wandering around hungry. The reason for this terrible scene was the severe flood in the Ganga, due to which normal life was disrupted. This is why Meera's heart melted, and that day she and her family helped the distressed people at that ghat as much as possible.
It was only after this incident that Meera Kanaujia decided to establish an organization for such helpless citizens, which today has brought a new light to those people of the society in the name of "Meera Foundation", who are deprived of the basic amenities of life.
